A Day with Randy and Carla on the Bikes

The Friday before Memorial Weekend we hooked up with Randy Davis and his lady friend, Carla, for a ride over to the Coshocton area for some wine tasting and just plain fun. We had lunch at the Raven's Glen winery on route 39, then wandered across the highway to check out the novelty store and trains.

Randy and Carla then took us over to Roscoe Village, a small town of early 1800 circa that has remained vintage and features a variety of various small shops. The boys enjoyed some ice cream while we wandered through town, reading the plaques on the fronts of the buildings that describe the year it was built and the various uses each structure has been used for over the years.

This was the third day in a row with the temperatures in the eighties, no rain and, also, the third day in a row we put on about 250 miles! For not leaving home, this has been a great mini-vacation!!
