Reality Sucks

Sunday morning we headed north. We had to ride over to Ronnie's, then pack the bikes back into the trailer. We visited with Ron, Barb and Ronnie's riding buddy, Bill, who was cool enough to come over and help us get the scoots strapped down in the trailer. We didn't hit the road until nearly 11am, so we knew we would be lucky to get out of Floriday before stopping in time to see the Superbowl Game that night. We stopped at state line for the night, making for a long ride the next day.

By the time we got into West Virginia, we were seeing white stuff on the side of the road and by the time we crossed into Southern Ohio, visibility was less than a quarter mile and the roads were covered in snow and slush, making for a slow ride with the trailer and a rear wheel drive van. It was a bit of a white knuckle ride home, but we finally got in close to 11pm Monday night.

Fortunately, the snow at our place was very powdery, making the pull up into the driveway alot easier than it would have been had we gotten Ohio's usual wet slushy snow.

Thanks to everybody who shared this trip with us. I am so thankful we were able to do this together and I am honored to have all of you along as well. Life isn't always fair, but every once in awhile, if we are lucky, we are blessed with an opportunity to bathe in life's gifts. Family and friends are part of that.

Until next time... Peace.
