Getting Ready to Roll

OK, so today is the "best" weather NE Ohio is expecting for the next week, and we are scheduled to hit the road next Friday, January 25th. So with the weatherman threatening temperatures in the teens over night (yeah, I know, it IS Ohio) we figured we had best get the scoots loaded up now and the van parked in a manner that would allow for some snow blowin' action should it become necessary on our way outa' Dodge.

Our chariot and our wagon!
Our brother, Randy Davis, blessed us with his company and wit while loading the scoots into our wagon and helped with the ratcheting down. It was a balmy 40 plus degrees today and we think this is the warmest it will be this week. (As I write this, the thermometer on the unit parked on the south side of the pad is reading 52, but that's without any wind..)

Here is our home for the ten days on the road... No, that's not exactly true, Buffalo's cousin Ronnie and his lovely wife, Barb, will host us as long as they can stand us, at their humble abode in Sarasotta, FL. Ronnie is also a two wheeled brother, and we look forward to spending some much missed time with both of them (as well as teaching them how to find this blog! LOL)
Bikes in a Box...

Brother Randy and Buffalo
We are so looking forward to this trip and I can't possibly express my sincere gratitude to RJ Martin Electrical Services, my employer, who has generously loaned us these vehicles and has been beyond understanding through our trials. Hopefully, my fellow employees will be along for the ride! Love you guys and will miss you...NOT really!!! ha ha

Peace.

Bobbi
