Tuesday the 6th...

Onward to New York and all the (we would soon find out) wine snobs of the Finger Lakes region. We had reservations at a place called Vinehurt in Hammondsport and the owner greeted us as if we had leoprosy. OMG, what a bitch! The room was very nice but the owner was a ...oh did I already say that ... a bitch! I plan to find every lodging blog site available and trash their establishment. She typifies how bikers used to be treated only, excuuuuse me, but it is 2010 and, hey lady, get used to it or get over it. We got there early, around noon and, understandably, housekeeping was not done with their chores. No big deal. Now realize, we had reserved one of THE most expensive suites at their establishment. We weren't looking for the cheapest...after all, we just spend five days in an RV. We were looking for nice and comfy, no matter the cost. And what did we get? Can you say "attitude"? Wow. Now I will say that her staff was some of the most down-to-earth, nice people you would ever want to meet, which makes me sure she treats them even worse than she treats her paying guests... We already had reservations for two nights and the region is very busy with the wine trade, but all I will say was, WHAT A BITCH.
