July 4th afternoon - a stop at the river

After my ride on the 4th, I stopped at the river access and shot some pictures and took a little hike. Here are the pictures. Not much to say with them...just time to contemplate on the day. I would have taken a swim, but the water was still and there were a lot of little people (i.e. children) in there... and I know what children do in swimming water and it is not sanitary. So I passed on the swim.
