Day ride thru New York...not impressed

Yes, this trip involved a whole lot of museums and less riding this time, which is fine as we are ***choke*** getting a little older. But we still like to have our fun, which is why I am blasting the hell out of the bitch that ran the Vinehurst. I will probably get kicked off of my blog, but it will be worth it.

So we followed a bunch of dotted lines along the giner lakes region, which, in motorist speak, is "scenic drive". So we enjoyed the ride, but the motorists were rude and we were headed for one more museum on the trip. OK, so the last last of the dude-seums was the Wings of Eagles in NY. After spending one day just riding around the finger lakes (highly over rated and if you are expecting to go wine tasting on a motorcycle...reality check...most of the driveways are gravel and very spookie...i.e. not motorcycle friendly.)

So we wound up at the museum a half hour before closing so we came back the next day to take our time and check it out. And it was worth the $5 per person admission. Not nearly what the Curtiss or Bill's was, it was still worth the cost (don't listen to the whining old man in the background who is saying .... whatever)

Lots of history and displays, fewer of the airplanes, which is what Buffalo was looking for. Not a problem. Still worth the bucks.

BTW the scenic turn off for the falls was well worth it...check it out.
